Clean, unclipped dust jacket with light wear to extremities. T. H. White, 1906-1964, is best known for his "The Once and Future KIng", his re-telling of the tmeless Arthur/Merlin legend. White was a teacher for several years inthr 1930s until he began devoting his whole time to writing. In this lively correspondence, he writes to his own "Merlin", L. J. Potts, the man who, from White's second year at Cambridge until the end of his life, was his advisor, then his adversary, and finally, his harshest critic and devoted friend.
