About This Item
The Library by George Crabbe and Edward Ardizzone, 1st/1st, 1930
London: The De La More Press, (1930). First edition thus, first printing. This is a very good (or better) copy. Issued without a dust wrapper. Bound in paper-covered boards with black titling and a frontal Ardizzone illustration. There is a notable mark at the spine, casting this copy down from the very near fine grading. The corners are slightly bumped and the edges rubbed. The internals are mostly clean, but there is some major residue to the rear endpapers, with a visible attempt to remove it proving poor. There are no ink inscriptions and the early Ardizzone illustrations are all clean and present. This is a very good copy of a scarce work.
A poem by George Crabbe and an early work by Edward Ardizzone.
