London: Chatto & Windus, 1894. Bound in red leather wraparound spine and corners, with marbeleized front and endpapers, ribbed spine withgilt lettering and decorations. With eighty-four (wonderful) illustrations. Binding shows some bumping and wear at extremities, rubbing on spine ribs, etc., but mostly G and clean and bright on outside. Inside exceptionally good, clean, and tight, but has former owner's bookplate (George W. Morse)on inside left endpaper and it is slightly torn at bottom left edge and coming off from board. A splendid volume of biography and beauty.. Leather Bound. Good/None as Issued. Illus. by George Cruickshank. 8vo.
