NY: Harper & Brothers, 1960. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/Very Good. Small 8vo. 144pp. First edition. G+/VG. Hardcover book bound in grey cloth, with faded lavender topstain and white lettering on spine and front panel. Fraying at head of spine, darkening at board extremities. Glue stains on free endpages and board bottoms. Offsetting to rear endpages where a NYT obituary of MacIver was laid in (included; now isolated in archival protector). Unclipped jacket displays original $3.00, with rubbing at spine ends, and general light soiling. Part of the World Perspectives series edited by Ruth Nanda Anshen.

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.

We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
