Good. 0x0x0. 437 p., clean and unmarked--not ex-lib., no former owner's name; frontis. is reproduction of a portrait of the distinguished publisher and diplomat, appointed ambassador to the UK by Woodrow Wilson after WWI, with other photoportraits within of himself and other luminaries of the age; paper mildly age-toned but of fine quality and very strong; blue boards show some rubbing and bumping in absence of d.j., gilt lettering on spine and gilt holograph of author's signature on front board are faded but legible; binding firm although back gutter is beginning to show signs of cracking.
