Tissue protected black and white frontis portrait engraving of Wesley. Published for the Conference Office of the Methodist Episcopal Church on Mulberry Street and printed by J. Collard. The rebound case work of this volume can be described as near fine and the binding itself is very good and sound. The text pages are foxed from mild marginal foxing on some pages to others where the foxing is more prevalent. Some marginalia is present in the form of pen and pencil strokes next to passages of interest. The library notations, of which none are external, are a stamp on the title page and a catalogue number on the tail margin of page 3. I could find no others and the volume is, aside from the foxing, quite clean. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. .
