Full contemporary mottled 'tree' sheep, gilt ruled spine panels with gilt stamped title on black morocco label. Frontispiece engraved portrait with tissue guard intact (for all the good it did). Owner's name to FFEP in contemporary hand, same owner's stamp to FFEP and title page, foxing throughout, tips rubbed, binding still very sound and presentable.
