About This Item
Claxton, Remsen & Haffelfinger, 1878. Hardcover. Acceptable. 4 volume set. Claxton, Remsen & Haffelfinger, 1878. Full leather. From the library of the noted American philosopher and psychologist, James Mark Baldwin (1861-1934). Internally good. Hinges have been reinforced with binding parchment. Some chipping/loss of spine leather. Baldwin's signature inside cover, Princeton 1883. Set conservatively graded at fair because of chipping to spine leather, but probably some would classify it as good, as it is readable and a solid set.
