Needs careful handling. Deckled edges. Clara Morris, or Morrison, was born Clara La Montagne on March 17, 1848. She was married to Frederick C. Harriott on Nov. 30, 1874, and supported him for 18 years until he joined her on the stage. Due to poor health and vision problems she often missed rehearsals. To survive she did needlework, taught foreign languages, and wrote articles and books. She died Nov. 20, 1925. This book has previous owner's name and 399 pp..
