(1st) Maroon cloth, large book, gilt author's name bright at top front, spine very slightly sunken, gilt lettering very bright on spine, bookplate with ink note inside top front cover, 329 lightly browned pages, 10-page index. DJ heavy paper, with the look of a vellum illuminated manuscript on front, spine and back. DJ has thin brown scuff at top front edge next to tip, micronick and tiny creases at spine top edge, very tiny tear at spine bottom right edge, tiny tear at bottom back tip. Near Very Good DJ/Near Fine book.
