Description

London: Faber & Faber, 1934. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. First edition. 417pp. Illustrated. Spine tanned, corners and spine ends bumped, about very good in a fair only dust jacket that is split at the front flap fold, has a tanned spine, some loss to the spine and edges, and internal tape repairs (some of which are visible on the spine). Alfred A. Knopf's copy with his soiled bookplate, designed and illustrated by Rockwell Kent, on the front pastedown.
