First Edition 1945. Signed/inscribed by author. Text very toned without tears or folds. Blue cloth, faded at the head of the spine, with orange and black ink designs on the spine. Square and firmly bound, clean internally, minor imoerfections inside front/back covers. Dust jacket worn torn missing pieces, in mylar sleeve. Jarrell's second collection, featuring his most famous poem "Death of the Ball Turret Gunner.".
