Breach drawing to front panel. --- With prior owner's signature to front free endpaper and frequent underlinings and marks in ink within the text, otherwise a sound, tightly-bound copy. Heavy water staining to first few pages. Intense cracking to hinges. Boards have heavy edge wear, with bumping and fraying to corners and almost total loss of edge tooling. Spine ends are crushed and frayed. Joints worn too. Large loss of spine leather with visible gatherings and possible fire damage. Front board almost detached. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall.
