The authorized edition of the Metropolitan Opera Guild, with lavish color illustrations by Alexandre Serebriakoff. The four volumes are housed in the original slipcase, which is very good with some rubbing and the spine sunned from red to pink. There is a crack at one hinge of the case, but it is still sturdy and square, and fits the books perfectly.
