Heavy rubbing to edges of boards with some loss of leather. Heavy rubbing to joints and raised bands of spine. Plates generally very clean. ; v, [1], 439, [1], [8] + frontis + 101 plates (including 9 folding). Extra-illustrated. Half blue morocco binding with marbled boards. Five raised bands to spine. Gilt decorations on spine. Marbled endpapers. A wide margined copy. Page dimensions: 235 x 191mm. The plates are mostly portraits. A smaller number are architectural. Several of the folding plates are of Westminster Abbey.
