About This Item
London: The London Scottish, 1917. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. A two year run of this detailed regimental journal in the last two years of the First World War. Illustrated with photos of soldiers killed on the battlefields and containing many lists of casualties together with lists of promotions, etc. A particularly sad part is the requests from families for news of missing soldiers.
