Description:
1930 DRACULA Bram Stoker Horror Gothic Occult Transylvania Vampires RARE

"Dracula" is a gothic horror novel by Bram Stoker, first published in 1897. This classic novel tells the story of Count Dracula's attempt to move from Transylvania to England so that he may find new blood and spread the undead curse. The novel is written primarily in a, then unique, now iconic, journal format and includes elements of horror, romance, and adventure. Dracula has been labeled as one of the most important, popular, and scariest horror novels of all time. It helped establish many horror tropes that would appear in subsequent vampire fantasies in film, on stage, and in print.

Description:
1925 Thomas Paine Life & Work Thomas EDISON Patriot edition Common Sense 10v SET

"Whatever is my right as a man is also the right of another."
– Thomas Paine, Rights of Man

Thomas Paine's political activism in the late 18th-century was vitally important to many of the successes of the American Revolution. He was responsible for some of the most important propaganda pamphlets at the start of the war which inspired American rebels in 1776. 'Common Sense' alone is considered the all-time best American pamphlet, in fact, John Adams is known to have said "without the pen of the author of 'Common sense,' the sword of Washington would have been raised in vain.'

In 1925, an impressive printing of the life and works of Paine was published in New Rochelle, New York. Notably, this edition was edited by famed scientist Thomas Edison.
