Boston: L. C. Page & Company, 1904. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Two Volume Set of 8 1/2" tall hardcovers. Brown pictorial cloth hardcover books decorated in gilt, pin and green. With b/w plates with tissue guards. Some uncut pages. Light fraying and bumping at edges and corners of boards. A small spot of white on the back cover, top edge of Vol. 1. Minimal general shel fwear to boards. The frontispiece of Vol. 1 is detached. A couple of closed tears to the second ffep of Vol. 1. Pages in both books are tight but the book will lay open. Pages are clean/unmarked. Vol. 1 = 516 pages. Vol. 2 = 565 pages. Vol. 1 has a little separtion/tearing along the seam of the back end pages. Vol. 2 has a name written on the back side of the last end page. Only print info stated is "MCMIV" on the bottom of the title pages. These books are probably close to Fine condition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Tall
