Just a touch of shelf/edge wear and rubbing to unclipped DJ, now in mylar The author had a distinguished career in the military and in public service. He was Captain of Delta Company 1st Battalion 5th Marines during the Vietnam War. His bravery earned him 2 Purple Hearts, 2 Bronze Stars, a Silver Star and the Navy Cross. He served as US Secretary of the Navy from 1987 to 1988. In a 2006 appearance on Meet the Press, he explained: I'm one of these people who – there aren't many of us – who can still justify for you the reasons that we went into Vietnam, however screwed up the strategy got. An outspoken opponent of the Iraq war, he served as US Senator for Virginia from 2007 to 2013.
