Description

Belgium: Casterman, 1949. Early printing. Hardcover. 62pp. Quarto [30.5 cm] Illustrated paper covered boards. Illustrated endsheets. Very good. The covers are lightly rubbed, bumped and scratched. There is a very faint 4 and 1/3 inch crease in the front board. There is a short tear in the paper at the foot of the spine. The pages are lightly browned, however they are very clean. Herge's best known and most substantial work is The Adventures of Tintin comic book series, which he produced from 1929 until his death in 1983, leaving the twenty-fourth Tintin adventure, Tintin and Alph-Art ,unfinished.
