About the author

Andr Akinyele is an author, entrepreneur, and musician. He has recorded as R&B/funk artist Marcel (1998-2004), and jazz/funk artist Ajamu Akinyele (2005-2006). He's the founder and renowned bassist of the San Francisco bay area jazz/funk/fusion band Gemini Soul (2006-2015), guitarist of the rock band Looking for Lester (credited as Rebellion), and keyboardist for the electronic duo Lavender Lush (credited as Chambliss Charlie). He now records under his present name. An enthusiast of music and technology, Andr co-authored "Elliptical: The Music of Meshell Ndegeocello", and authored "So, What's The Big Deal About Scrum? A Methodology Handbook For Developers". He is also a game and software application developer for his company AJAMU. Andr earned a Master's Degree in Information Technology: Software Engineering. A native of the San Francisco bay area, he currently lives in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Andr Akinyele is the founder and owner of Bombay Recording Co., Pearl Jazz Recording Label, Orange River (Books and Records), and Andr Akinyele Studios, all recording labels and production companies, as well as the owner of AJAMU, a game and application development company.
