Dj has 3 chips from lower edge, one on the front effecting the 'W' in the author's name, one at the tail of spine and one effecting the 'L' on the lower back edge., dj has a bit of edge wear especially at top edge of spine and one closed edge tear to upper edge. "Caldecott Award Winner" written in ink on inside front flap of dust jacket. Bookplate on half title page of book which covers the word RESCUE..
Synopsis
