[London], 1822. 262 x 170 mm. + good margins. Proof copy on India paper laid down to publisher's mat.

Mercandotti is depicted full-length to left, in fourth position croisée, her back to the public, looking over her left shoulder; she wears a calf-length dress and a feathered headpiece.

Slightly worn and foxed; small tear to right margin; publisher's mat laid down to heavy blue stock; remnants of mounting adhesive to verso. Chaffee English 90.

The ballet Cendrillon, with choreography by Albert and music by the Spanish composer Fernando Sor, was first performed in London at the King's Theatre on March 26, 1822.
