Blue cloth stamped in navy & white, color pastedown cover illustration, colored endpapers, 236pp, 12 color illustrations by Frank Verbeck. First Edition, but not a first state (Braunworth imprint is in unserifed type, and on back of copyright, rather than title page, numeral appears on page 50, and caption on p. 121 is undamaged). There is a 1913 owners inscription. Cover faded and rubbed, minor restoration to endpapers.
