Trade paperback, 401 pages. Very little wear. The pages are clean, tight and intact, and the spine has no creases. A collection of works from the renowned Indian writer R. K. Narayan. The book begins with an autobiography, followed by sections titled Novel, Short Stories, Essays, Travel, Legends and Myths, and The Writer as Citizen. I am not clear on how the distinction is made between "Novels" and "Short Stories" as they are all short, ranging from five pages to forty. All of Narayan's fiction is based in an imaginary town called Malgudi.
