About This Item

Columbia, South Carolina: University of South Carolina Press, 1995. Soft cover. Very Good. Mamba's Daughters is a classic novel of time and place. It is a perceptive commentary on the pursuit of freedom and identity, among both blacks and whites. Readers today may find an understanding of southern life, not only in the early 20th century but in our own time as well. Page 121 -122 at the upper outer edge appears to have had a large paper clip that has been removed. None of the writing is affected. The balance of the interior of the work appears clean. There is no creasing on the spine. The covers have some light indentations that are present if one holds them to the light at the correct angle. All in all, a rather nice and presentable copy of a historic classic. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box!
