The Manhattan Medicine Company made Johnson's Bitters and Atwood's Jaundice Bitters, as well asMyer's Extract of Rock Rose (an Invaluable remedy for all). To help them sell this stuff these little booklets were printed full of treatment advice and testimonials. Recipes are included to encourage the clients to keep the booklet: Savoy Biscuits, Saratoga Graham Muffins, Molasses Gingerbread. No date given, a guess at 1880s; date uncertain. I have seen another copy with some difference to the text page mostly to the back of the book, but also without a date. No markings, some rubbing to delicate covers, some creasing to back cover, VG (-). (0.5lbs Docket 12 HOX 1/a11. Paperback. Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
