Light rubbing to the cloth boards.Light sunning to the spine of the book. Chipping to the head and tail of the spine with a small area of loss of 0.5 cm to the tail of the spine. There is a short tear of 0.5 cm to the cloth at the head of the spine. Neat ink inscription to the front end paper dated 1930. Small ink scribble to the rear paste down. Slight splitting to the rear of the book between a few pages - however the book remains tightly bound. Clean and fresh. A very good copy.

Period binding by Bickers of full tan polished calf with raised bands, gilt decoration to spine and gilt rules, marbled edges and endpapers. The two leather title labels on the spine read, ''Austen's Novels'' and ''Mansfield Park''.Some faint spotting to frontispiece. Slight rubbing to joints. Very good indeed.

Publishers dark brown morocco grained cloth with elaborate blind stamped decorative border to the boards. Spine lettered and decorated in gilt. Yellow endpapers with lists of other titles published by Bentley. Neat previous owner bookplate to the top of the front paste down endpaper. Some staining to the bottom of the frontispiece, not affecting the image or type, otherwise a very clean and fresh copy. The cloth is clean and tidy, with sharp corners, and the gilt on the spine still bright and fresh. A little rubbing to the extremities but this is a superior copy. Scarce in such nice condition.
