Contents: Introduction; Advertisement to this Edition; Preface; Part I: Culture of the Mulberry Tree; Part II: On Rearing Silk Worms; Part III: Reeling and Manufacturing Silk; Appendix: Short Historical Account of the Efforts of Silk Culture in this country; Letter: From Peter S. Du Ponceau to the Hon. Andrew Stevenson, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States. From the title page: "Published by direction of his Excellency Gov. Lincoln, agreeably to a resolve of the Commonwealth."
