Slipcase: intact with light rubbing to surfaces; light wear and small closed tear to fore edge opening. Pictorial card stock wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is not creased or split; text is secure in binding. Tinted textblock edges. 445 pp (223 in Volume 1 and 222 in Volume 2) 12mo. Casanova who lived the 1700s was know for many things, but his prodigious concentration upon the arts of seduction and love-making made him a classic monument to sex. In the twilight of his life, he wrote this autobiography where he remembers his almost countless women with remarkable details which are very believable based on the authority of historians who verified his travels and encounters with the various ladies. A clean very presentable copy.
