About This Item
Paris: Editions Mornay, 1933. Limited ed. Hardcover. Very Good. 8 x 10 in. 205 (206) pp. Custom bound in full maroon calf with raised spine bands, stamped gilt spine titles, and ivory calf insert on front with the intertwined hearts. Binder included the original paper wrapper after the endpapers. Exemplaire no. 1064, as stated on the half title pg. Color plates by Gagnon. Condition is VERY GOOD ; the binding leather is supple with no damage, covers are very clean but have a faint water stain at the lower edges. The water stain can be seen on the first and last blanks, but happily doesn't extend to the actual text. The text and plates are all very fine and clean. Binding is tight, with the binder unknown - perhaps the initials T A S on the spine base are some indication. Text in French. Rare. RGR.
