Front cover has a gold and dark green illustration of women on the front steps of a building with trees surrounding. Black and white frontispiece. 237 pages, plus 13 pages of publisher's ads. NOT ex-library. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with fraying at tips and spine ends and some loss of cloth at the tail of the spine. Spine lettering is very faded, but still visible. Page edges lightly soiled. Name in ink on front free endpaper, dated 1926. Pages lightly tanned, more so at periphery, but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. Dust jacket is missing. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
