About the author

Brian Sibley, a well-known British author and radio personality, is coauthor, with Peter Lord, of Abrams's "Creating 3-D Animation." An expert on animation, illustration, and fantasy literature, his many books include "Shadowlands: The Story of C. S. Lewis and Joy Davidman;""The Land of Narnia"; and "The Map of Tolkien's Middle Earth." He was a personal friend of P. L. Travers and co-wrote with her a never-produced sequel to "Mary Poppins." He lives in London.
Michael Lassell is a widely published, award-winning author of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, whose work has appeared in scores of newspapers, magazines, literary journals, and anthologies. A former theater critic, he holds degrees from Colgate University, the California Institute of the Arts, and the Yale School of Drama. He lives in New York City, where he is the articles director of "Metropolitan Home" magazine. Previously, he wrote "Aida," "Celebration-The Story of a Town," and compiled "Disney on Broadway" for Disney Editions.
