One of the earliest official reports on the Holocaust by Count Edward Raczyński (1891-1993) the Polish Foreign Minister in Exile in London.

He based his note on the report of Jan Karski (1914-2000) the Polish resistance movement fighter who was smuggled into occupied Poland and witnessed the extermination of the Jews. Raczyński provided the Allies with the earliest and most accurate accounts of the ongoing Holocaust and pleaded for action. In this detailed description, he mentions Treblinka, Belzec and Sobibor and identifies them as extermination camps, he discusses the Germans' initial shooting executions and subsequent lethal gassing of the Polish Jews and writes that one-third of the three million Polis Jews had already been killed - which was an underestimate.
