With illustrations by Sidonie Coryn. Overall, this volume offers a means for the aspiring French chef to learn the basics of preparing delicious French cuisine. Ms. Child won fame for her PBS television series, the first of which was entitled "The French Chef." --- In white paper-covered boards with titling on red cover & spine blocks, patterned fleurs-de-lis decorations to covers and spine. Dust jacket in vivid red with titling on ivory cover & spine blocks. --- An excellent copy: tightly-bound and newish, but with spot of yellow soiling to textblock fore-edge and slight splaying to front board. Interior is clean, bright and unmarked. Unclipped jacket bright, undamaged and wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; Tall Octavo - 9 to 10 in. tall; xxxii, 684, xxxii, (2) pages .
