Description

New York: Ten Speed Press. Near Fine in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1992. First Edition. Hardcover. Maxfield Parrish was one of the most important illustrators and artists of the early 20th century. She covers the various periods of his life and delves into the family relationships that were scandalous during his lifetime. This is a beautifully illustrated with many color illustrations of his illustrations, calendars, paintings, murals, landscapes, etc. as well as b&w photographs taken by Parrish himself, including many of his models that depict the artists creative process.
