About This Item
New York: Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1943. Eighth Printing . Cloth. Very Good/Fair. A Very Good copy in maroon cloth, in a Fair dust jacket with light edge-wear to the front and rear panels, but with a large chip at the bottom of the spine, and an old tape-mend on the verso to the rear spine fold. Briefly inscribed at the front endpaper by author Joseph Mitchell in his neat hand "For Maeve from Joe", and purchased by us with several other books from fellow New Yorker author Maeve Brennan's library. Although not signed in full, a wonderful New Yorker association copy.
