Introduction "The History of Art as a Humanistic Discipline", followed by seven essays - reprints and revisions. Additional illustrations include line drawings in the text. Mass-market paperback, binding disintegrated and reglued with additional repairs with clear tape (hence some signatures uneven), backstrip creased and with losses, wraps soiled and worn, edges soiled and age-toned. Names of former owners written on half-title, underscoring and/or marginalia on approximately 25 pages.
