The authors have used the riches of the liturgical movement of the 50's and 60's to help modern American religious to live a fuller and deeper spiritual life. The sister/brother writing team of the Dalys are a Jesuit priest and a professed religious. The meditations are given on a daily basis following the Church calendar through Advent, Christman, Epiphany and the 6 weeks following the Epiphany. The board edges and spine are faded, dog eared creases on the top fore edge corners of several pages, otherwise clean with a sound binding. The unclipped dust jacket has minor wear to the edges and the spine is a tad darkened. .
