Ink notations on p. ix indicating the cast of a production. Occasional pencil and ink notations throughout relating to a production of the play. The popularity of this play in the United States in the early 20th century led to the widespread use of the expression "melting pot" to describe absorption of various immigrant groups by the country. In Good Condition: edges rubbed; cover is lightly soiled and rubbed, with circular stain on front cover; various production-related notations are described above; a solid and used copy.
