New York:Printed for Samuel Campbell by D. & G. Bruce. 1809. 2nd edition. viii+344pp. Hardcover. Bound in full leather with title label to spine strip. Leather is quite worn, chipped and scuffed, with edge points still sharp but worn to boards and spine ends worn and chipped. Internally, end pages heavily worn and age toned with a previous owners name to 1st free endpage but otherwise although paper is age-toned throughout, pages are relatively free of foxing. The binding is tight and boards still firmly attached. *Author lived with the Schuyler Family for a time in upstate New York.
