Octavo, 479, 478-542, 553-611, [5] pages; VG-; Bound by Jon Robbins in modern period-style calf; spine lightly tanned. The names "Ann Ball," "Ann Child," and "Walter Long" are all written in old hands in ink on the title page and the first page of the preface. Lacking illustrated frontispiece. Wear and minor insect damage visible to edges of text block. Archival repairs to first four and final three leaves of volume. Small patch of damp staining to first signature at lower edge near spine. Age-toned and foxed; damp staining to fore edges throughout.
