Galveston: Printed by Clarke & Courts, 1913. First edition. Quarto, 26x18cm, [8], 95pp. Black and white portrait frontis and one other photo plate. Blind stamped, black cloth lettered in gilt. Good condition with wear and a chip to spine, bumping and soiling to boards. Internally clean and complete with printed Kleberg family tree laid in. A collection of remembrances of Marcellus E. Kleberg (1849-1913), compiled under the direction of friends and family and also containing extracts from some of his notable speeches and addresses.

Kleberg was a lawyer and charter member of the TX state bar association. He also served in the House of the Thirteenth Texas Legislature.
