The scarce third volume of the history. Includes all maps callled for. The book is very good. There a half-inch piece along the top of the free endpaper sliced out. Perhaps caused by nervousness, or guilt, the cutter sliced into the next two pages. There is no loss of text. The dust jacket is in good only condition. There are two rather substantial pieces missing from the rear panel. Elsewhere, the spine is faded, and there is some soiling. I can send photos for those who are interested.

DJ preserved now in mylar cover. Small quarto: 255 x 175mm. First published 1967, this is the second printing, 1972. Volume 2 only, of the three volume set.
