About This Item
Old Hemlock, 1983. Black cloth hardcover with gilt lettering on front cover and spine, 203 pages plus colophon, foreword by Neil Sheehan, photographs by LeJay Graffious, mustard color endpapers, cloth cover very slightly faded on spine, extremely light rubbing to surface of cloth at bottom edge barely visible to the extent that I am not sure if it is rubbing or fading but it was likely kept in the slipcase, clean tight and square with sharp corners, very good slipcase shows some very slight fading, on the limitation page the word "number" is crossed out and the words "a presentation" are written in brown ink so that it says "This is a presentation edition limited to nine hundred ninety copies," and then after that the author also wrote in the same brown ink "These are the fallen leaves of yesteryear. George Bird Evans Old Hemlock 1983.". Signed by Author. Limited Signed First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/None Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

About DJ Ernst-Books
A small clean well-lighted store established in 1975 in Selinsgrove Pennsylvania, DJ Ernst-Books offers a diverse interesting stock of out-of-print, used, and antiquarian books. There is limited space and therefore quality is stressed over quantity. I treat each customer as an important person. My book shop is open 6 days a week, and is located in the scenic Susquehanna River Valley. Susquehanna University, with their expanding writing program, is located in Selinsgrove. Thus, several of my customers are writers or aspiring writers.
