First edition copies. Volumes iv and v of Mes Souvenirs de Vingt ans de Sejour a Berlin; ou Frederic le Grand by Dieudonne Thiebault. These volumes detail the family, court, government academy, schools and friends of Frederic the Great. Dieudonne Thiebault was a French man of letters. With the half title pages. Previous owner bookplates to the front pastedowns for James Frank Bright. In quarter leather with cloth boards. Externally, a little worn with some splitting to the joints and loss to the heads and tails of the spines. With some marks to the boards. Front hinge is starting to iv but remains firm. Previous owner bookplates to the front pastedowns for James Frank Bright. Internally, firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages. Good
