A well-illustrated and detailed 832 page work by the former Secretary of the US legation to Mexico. The last 50 pages of the work deal with New Mexico and California, with illustrations, plates (eg, views of Santa Fe, Bay of San Francisco, Sierra Nevada pass), statistical tables, etc. Sabin 47100.
