New York: Random House, n.d. (1956). First Edition. 6” x 8”, 43 pages. With a prologue by Edward R. Murrow, cameo biographies of forty-six cast members, and illustrated throughout with color photographs. Around the World in Eighty Days is producer Michael Todd’s acclaimed film based on Jules Verne’s classic novel, directed by Michael Anderson, starring David Niven, Cantinflas, Shirley Maclaine, Robert Morley, Noel Coward, Trevor Howard, Charles Boyer, Marlene Dietrich, Buster Keaton, Evelyn Keyes, Jose Greco, and other stars in guest appearances. A lightly handled copy with some edge wear and some small tears, hardbound with glossy paper covered boards. Michael Todd was married to actress Elizabeth Taylor, and was killed in a plane crash shortly after his Around the World in 80 Days won five Academy Awards including Best Picture.
