About This Item
New York: Alfred A Knopf, 1941. First edition stated. Facsimilie dust jacket of first edition. Green cloth has faint damp stains on both front and rear panels but not significant. Cloth on spine has two small abrasions cutting through color to board but the largest is less than 1/2 " wide. On rear board, at head of spine near gutter there is about a 1/2" chip. Former owner's name on fep with address but it is small and neat. Brown offsetting to front end paper almost 2" wide. Book is tight and square, text clean as are uncut page edges. First edition stated. . First American Edition. Cloth. Vg-/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
