Biography of his son John who was killed on the Western front in 1916 and of the author's visit to France to entertain the troops and money raising for"The Harry Lauder Million Pond Fund" for wounded soldiers. First Edition 1918. Very good no d/j Moderate shelf wear to cloth , no notable soiling, Ink gift insc. to front paste down Sept 1918, offset browning to free end papers, paper of book block evenly tanned, a few mild foxing spots to edges of book block, times book club sticker to rear paste down with date in k alongside. No other notable defects).
